On the lighter side of the menu, the Chicken Larb provides a refreshing alternative. This Thai salad combines minced chicken, lime juice, herbs, and spices to create a bright and zesty dish.

Papaya salad is another refreshing option that reflects the balance of flavors typical in Southeast Asian cuisine. The shredded green papaya is combined with chili, lime, and fish sauce, creating a dish that is both crisp and flavorful.

These lighter dishes help balance the richer items on the menu.

Quite a unique and tasty place. From the outside, you wouldn’t expect the place is quite nice and the foods are well delish. Plenty of parking since they have their own parking lot plus free street parking. Once you’re inside, simply decor and some Cambodian decorations, you felt at easy and homey feeling. Big, clean, and spacious seating area, they do have private and big room for big group (50+). The menu is big but easy to find what you like. The staff are nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our waitress recommended some popular & their specialty dishes. We got 4 dishes and Thai coffee. It does take awhile since they have several tables plus a big group. Once the foods came out, it smelled great and very tasty plus delish. The beef jerky is popular and well seasoned & tasty - and it is chewy. The fish fillets curry, which is our favorite and so yummy. The crepes are thick and very filling and good. The noodle is quite nice and tasty. Overall, it was a great meal for us, we have some left over since it’s a big portion and the price tags are not bad at all.

Veryich Worth the cost. Highly recommended, I will be coming here exclusively, now I need to try their noodles and soup options. We had the catfish, papaya salad, Green been and beef. If you’re looking for Cambodian food, this is the spot. If you’re missing home and craving something authentic and comforting, Sophy is a must-try. I ordered the beef skewers, sour soup, and banh xeo, and everything was so good and full of flavor. The food felt warm and homey in the best way. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Prahok is more of a sauce less of a crudite dip. Or maybe I got the wrong dish. Beef skewers and papaya salad was delicious. Nom krok is addictive. I was expecting more flavor and greens in the nom banh jok. It’s generous with noodles. Curry broth is delicious. Nothing is over salted. There are also scarves and table settings for sale.

Our 2nd time here (years apart). My kid really like there special fried rice. I got Nom Tok and hubby got the beef chow fun, aka Mee KhaThaang. Everything was good. They don't serve sticky rice which would been good with the Nam Tok (grilled beef salad with mint and shallots). Service was great and food was good. We would come again when we pass by again!

GO FOR THE BÁNH XÈO! As mentioned the Bánh Xèo was so fresh and tasty, every table inside the restaurant had ordered Bánh XÈO for their table. The Somlow Machu Youun (sour pineapple soup) was deliciously balanced between sweet and sour. We also ordered chicken with crispy ginger and it was so lovely and you could really taste the ginger flavor and crispiness, so many time “Ginger” dishes hardly taste of ginger but this one did not disappoint. Private Parking in the back is a great asset. Expect us back soon!

If you’re looking for authentic Cambodian food that feels comforting and homemade, Sophy's Restaurant is definitely a place worth visiting. The food had that warm, home-style quality that instantly makes the meal feel more personal and satisfying. I ordered the beef skewers, sour soup, and banh xeo, and every dish was packed with flavor and tasted freshly prepared. The balance of seasoning and freshness really stood out, especially in the soup and skewers. The atmosphere also felt relaxed and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s the kind of restaurant that can easily remind people of home while still being enjoyable for first-time visitors trying Cambodian food. Overall, a genuinely comforting and flavorful dining experience.

Had a really enjoyable experience overall, especially getting to try several traditional Cambodian dishes in one visit. The beef skewers and papaya salad were both full of flavor and easily some of the highlights of the meal. The nom krok was honestly addictive — crispy, soft, and something I could easily order again. I was a little surprised by the prahok since I expected more of a dip-style presentation, so I may have misunderstood the dish, but it was still interesting to try. The nom banh jok was very generous with noodles, though I personally expected a bit more herbs and stronger flavor from the greens. The curry broth itself was delicious and comforting, and I also appreciated that none of the dishes tasted overly salty. Small touches like the scarves and table settings available for sale added a unique, welcoming atmosphere to the restaurant.
